10640-Anaerobic Culture Jar

Transparent Anaerobic Culture Jar of 3.5 lit. capacity which is made of Polycarbonate. The lid of the jar is made of Aluminium Pressure die casting fitted with Pressure valve, Vacuum valve, Safety valve & Compound Pressure cum vaccum gauge, three finger aluminium clamp and sealing “O” ring and Air/Gas chuck. This is recommended only where inside condition of air of jar is removed thru vacuum pump and CO2 is filled in the jar thru CO2 gas cylinder to generate anaerobic conducting in the jar. Also Supplied with Plain aluminium Pressure die casted lid which can be fitted when readymade gas packs are used to generate the anaerobic conditions inside the jarSupply as above and completed with following accessories.

  • Petri Plate Carrier, Stainless steel, for 10 Petri Dishes.
  • Test Tube Carrier, Stainless Steel.
  • Catalyst provided.

An anaerobic culture jar serves various purposes in short form:

  1. Microbiological Culturing:
    • Create an oxygen-free environment for the growth of anaerobic bacteria and microorganisms.
  2. Anaerobic Bacterial Studies:
    • Facilitate the study and isolation of anaerobic bacteria for research and diagnostic purposes.
  3. Clinical Microbiology:
    • Aid in the cultivation of anaerobic pathogens in clinical samples for diagnostic testing.
  4. Microbial Sensitivity Testing:
    • Support testing the sensitivity of anaerobic microorganisms to antibiotics.
  5. Wound Infection Studies:
    • Cultivate anaerobic bacteria commonly associated with wound infections.
  6. Environmental Microbiology:
    • Use in environmental studies to isolate and study anaerobic microorganisms in various habitats.
  7. Food and Beverage Industry:
    • Employed for quality control, testing, and research related to anaerobic microorganisms in food and beverages.
  8. Biotechnology Research:
    • Contribute to biotechnological research involving anaerobic microbial processes.
  9. Dental Microbiology:
    • Cultivate anaerobic bacteria relevant to dental infections and oral microbiota.
  10. Study of Gut Microbiota:
    • Investigate anaerobic bacteria present in the gastrointestinal tract for research in microbiome studies.
  11. Infectious Disease Research:
    • Utilized in studies related to infectious diseases caused by anaerobic pathogens.
  12. Pharmaceutical Industry:
    • Employed for microbial testing in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the production of anaerobic-related products.
